HCCS Campus Safety Codes
To ensure campus safety and maintain order, the following codes have been established. All students, staff, and parents are kindly asked to comply:
I. Student Safety Protocol
- Students under 16 years old must have written parental consent to participate in courses and activities.
- Parents must accompany their children during the entire time before and after class; early drop-offs or late pick-ups are not allowed. A late fee of up to $50 per occurrence will be charged for pick-ups beyond the designated time.
- Climbing on fountains, stair railings, and other elevated structures is strictly prohibited.
- Playing in the elevator and running inside the building are prohibited.
II. Campus Code of Conduct
- Skateboarding and rollerblading are prohibited throughout the entire campus, including the parking lots.
- Pets are not allowed on campus.
- The use of paint or any materials that may cause graffiti on school property is strictly prohibited.
- Please use the restrooms responsibly; do not dispose of items that may cause blockages.
- Loud noise and shouting are prohibited in classrooms and hallways.
III. Equipment Use Rules
- The equipment use is limited to the locations and equipment specified in the rental agreement.
- Teaching equipment (including computers, pianos, etc.) may not be moved without permission.
- Moving classroom desks and chairs without permission is prohibited.
IV. Traffic Rules
- Vehicles must follow posted signs for driving and parking on campus. Violators will receive a citation from campus security.
V. External Activities
- No commercial or promotional activities of any kind are allowed on campus without prior approval from the school administration.
VI. Parent's Liability
- Parents of students in grades 2, 4, and 7 are required to fulfill their campus patrolling duty responsibilities on time. Unexcused absences will incur a penalty fee of up to $50 per occurrence.
VII. Violation Penalties
- First-time violators of these codes will receive a written warning from the school.
- Individuals who commit serious or repeated violations shall bear the appropriate liability for damages.
- Should the individual fail to correct their behavior after multiple warnings, the school reserves the right to advise their withdrawal from the institution.
- Individuals responsible for property damage are required to pay compensation equivalent to the replacement cost.
- Behaviors involving safety risks will lead to the immediate cessation of the individual’s participation in school activities.
These codes take effect immediately upon issuance. HCCS reserves the right of final interpretation. All members are expected to comply to help maintain a safe and orderly campus.
