The Howard County Chinese School Parent Association (PTA) is a volunteer organization composed of parents and teachers of Howard County Chinese School. We are always dedicated to assisting the school in creating a positive Chinese learning environment, promoting the excellence of Chinese cultural traditions, and enriching students’ life. Over the years, the Parent Association has actively fostered close connections among parents, teachers, and students by building smooth communication channels, fully supporting the school’s teaching efforts and various activities, and organizing special projects that benefit the school, families, and the community.

The PTA’s work covers many areas: we have successfully organized and assisted major annual events such as the school-wide Field Day, Spring Festival Gala, and graduation ceremony; regularly host public welfare lectures; distribute community news; and co-host parent meetings and Chinese language competitions. In cultivating students’ overall development, the PTA continuously supports the growth of the SGA and various student clubs, including, the Galvel Club, and the Robotics Club. Every Teacher’s Day, we organize flower presentations and carry out charity sales and fundraising activities.

在服务社区方面，家长会始终走在前列。我们积极参与2020年美国人口普查宣传工作，建立了BranchOut©学生社会服务社团哈维郡分部。在新冠疫情期间，家长会动员学生和家长手工制作防护面屏，送往纽约和本地医院支援抗疫一线；同时组织"同心抗疫"英语支教项目，为医护人员子女提供帮助；还开设了丰富多彩的暑期云课堂，惠及两地学子。
